He covers Raleigh, Wake County, Cary, Durham, Research Triangle Park (RTP), and the Triad Area: Cary Apex, Holly Spring, Wake Forest,Youngsville, Franklinton, Youngsville. and the surrounding cities, towns and counties.

He has extensive experience with H.U.D, VA and bank foreclosure properties as well as investment and flipping properties.

Joel and his wife Deborah have been married for 36 years. They have two grown sons, whom they home schooled during grades 6 through 12. They and their family have enjoyed being active in their church for over 40 years. Joel enjoys hiking on the trails in many local area parks and riding his motorcycle.
